Kindergarten

We are having so much fun in Kindergarten! We are spending a few weeks going back in time. This theme is for all subjects. In Social Studies, we are looking at how things have changed such as technology, school, clothes, toys, etc. In Science, we are having a blast exploring dinosaurs! We are measuring how long they were, studying their features, classifying them and doing fossil digs as well! In our learning centers, we are reinforcing all of our skills with dinosaur games. We are spelling sight words, putting puzzles together, playing addition games, doing rhyming, substituting initial consonant, etc. In Math we are working with numbers from 11 to 20.

Every day we are reading books, practicing fluency, reading and listening comprehension and looking for connections to the text.
