Infant: 6 weeks-18 months
Our infant room is a warm and loving place. Through our Frog Street curriculum, our babies begin to learn about the world around them. The curriculum helps to develop rich oral language, strong vocabulary as well as strong social and emotional connections. With puppets, sensory toys, manipulatives, stories, music and colorful pictures, the infants thrive in a stimulating and nurturing environment.
Toddlers: 18 months - 2 years
In the Toddler classroom we focus on nurturing each child’s individual needs and encouraging their natural curiosity. Since curiosity is the driving force of their world, we have created an environment where they can express themselves and explore freely. Through our “Joy of Music” program, art projects, games and play, we provide opportunities for toddlers to express their creativity and individuality while successfully achieving small, tasks.
Two's
In the Two’s classroom we focus on each child as an individual providing a nurturing environment where structure and routine are key to their development. Our theme-based curriculum incorporates music, stories, art and movement activities to help the children begin to understand basic concepts such as colors, shapes, letters and numbers. We have clearly defined interest areas- blocks, art, dramatic play, sand and water play, puzzles and library- where children can explore and engage in hands on learning.
Three's
The Three’s classroom provides a dynamic and interactive learning environment designed to foster both cognitive and social growth. We incorporate SmartBoard technology and hands-on experiences to enhance our FROG STREET curriculum which values individual differences and strong daily routines. Classroom learning centers encourage exploration, creativity and problem-solving which help children make meaningful connections to the world around them.
Pre-K
In our Pre-Kindergarten classroom, our curriculum is designed to be hands-on, interactive and engaging with the addition of SMARTBOARD technology as a dynamic teaching tool that enhances the learning experience. The Frog Street curriculum is a comprehensive, learning center-based curriculum that includes math, science, social studies, music and movement, and reading readiness. We help children develop both their cognitive and social-emotional skills in a supportive and engaging environment which builds a strong foundation and preparation for Kindergarten.
Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten class is a hands on, engaging environment! Through the SuperKids curriculum, children gain confidence, develop a love for learning and develop critical foundations in literacy. The SuperKids encompasses phonics, vocabulary, reading skills, comprehension, character education, handwriting, social studies and science to give a well -rounded educational experience. We also use Savvas Envision Math. This curriculum is a problem based and visual learning program. The children have daily lessons, hands on practice and then work in workbooks. It is an amazing learning experience coupled with field trips, interactive presentations, creative art, physical movement activities and small group center work. They are moving, socializing, playing and learning all day long!
