Oakland-Kindergarten Class

This week we are learning all about Martin Luther King. It is so important for the children to know and understand how he changed the world! We will also continue our unit on dinosaurs. We will specifically study the apatosaurus, pteradactyl, Triceratops, Stegosaurus and T-Rex. We will measure the dinosaurs bodies, wingspan and teeth! We will use the theme of dinosaurs in geography, math, reading, phonics and all subject areas! One of our favorite activities is being Paleontologists on our Smartboard. We get to find fossils, dig them out, clean them off, wrap them up and eventually attempt to assemble the bones! It's a fun week at K2K!
