Verne Taukus (director at Ringwood)

Verne is a Licensed Real Estate Agent who decided to change careers because she wanted to work with young children, after raising 2 children of her own. Verne started with Kradle 2 Kindergarten as a teacher in the Two’s classroom at our Ramapo Valley Road School. After 2 years with us in Oakland, we decided to open a center in Ringwood, and Verne moved to our Ringwood school as the Director. Verne has a Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University with a Minor in Art Education. Verne has worked hard to build and maintain the highest educational standards at our school. Thirteen years later, Verne is still at the school everyday to meet with families and guide her staff to reach their highest potential. Verne is the heart and soul of our Ringwood Center.

Kim Russo (director at Bauer Drive)

Kim has been working with Kradle 2 Kindergarten for 9 years. She began as a substitute and teacher assistant, and then became a Pre-Kindergarten teacher. While teaching Kim also took on Assistant Director responsibilities before becoming the director in 2007. Kim has a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut and her P-3 teacher certification from William Paterson University.  Now, being a mother herself, Kim has a different outlook on the work she does and strives to bring the best out in the children, teachers and caregivers that work at Bauer Drive.  Kim has a strong sense of responsibility for the school and is always available to speak to any families.
