Week of August 22nd Bauer Drive

This week is Farewell to Summer and we going to have a fun filled week!!! Monday is color day, the color is tye-dye and we also have bike day too. Tuesday we have water day and the magician is coming. Wednesday we will be making ice cream sundae’s and the storyteller is coming. Thursday is ice cream day and we will tye-dying t-shirts!!***PLEASE BRING A WHITE SHIRT TO TYE-DYE ON THURSDAY*** Friday we have water day.

In Miss Michele and Miss Barbara’s class this week we will be spending time with our friends and doing fun art projects!! We will be tye-dying on THURSDAY!!! We have had a blast this summer and can’t to see you in September!! Have a good week off and we will see you September 6th!!

In the two’s class this week the students will be drawing on their t-shirts with fabric paints. ***PLEASE BRING IN A WHITE T-SHIRT IN FOR MONDAY***This time will be spent packing in all the traditional summer activities like tye-dying, ice cream treats, sprinklers, outside picnics and time with friends before the new school year starts.

In Miss Trish’s class this we will be having lots of fun! We will start the week off by tye-dying shirts and having fun spending time with our friends. WE will also be having a end of the summer party on Friday!!!

In Miss Kristen’s class this week we will say farewell to summer and to some of our friends. We will spend week making fun art projects and tye-dying t-shirts. We will making autograph books for each child and everyone in the class will sign their name so that we will all remember what a great summer we had K2K!! We will also be taking lots of pictures and making our cook book full of the recipes from the summer cooking projects we did. We have had a lot of fun this summer and it will be hard to say goodbye. I hope you all have a great week off and we will see you in September!!!

Week of August 22nd Ringwood

This is the last week of Kamptime and we going to have a blast! All week will having so much fun,  we will be doing face painting, games with prizes to win and our end of summer party!! Be sure to look out for our party sign-up list to bring something in for the party!! We also have water day, ice cream day, bike day and color day! We want to thank you all for such a wonderful summer and we can’t wait to see you in September! ***WE WILL BE CLOSED THE WEEK OF AUGUST 29-SEPTEMBER 5TH*** SCHOOL REOPENS SEPTEMBER 6TH***

Week of August 15th Bauer Drive

This week we continue with our theme OUT OF THIS WORLD!! This week will be learning about the planets, stars, space and travel around the world!! On Monday the color of the day is purple and on Tuesday we have water day! Wednesday is bike day and and cooking day!!! Thursday we have ice cream day ! Friday we have another water day!!! This is going to be a fun filled week!!

In the toddler room Miss Michele and Miss Barbara will be having fun teaching about the little ones all about the stars, the moon and space!! They will coloring pictures of stars and reading some fun space books all week long! We would also like to wish Emma a HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY!!!

In the two’s this week Miss Blake is exploring space with all her little astronauts! They will look at pictures of planets and make stars!!They cant wait to blast off into the wonderful world of space!!

In the three’s class this week Miss Trish they will be exploring colors this week. They learn what happens when you mix different colors together and they will aslo be finishing up making the planets for their solar system project!!!

In Miss Kristen’s class this week we will traveling around the world. Each day we will learning about a different country and doing a fun art project!! This week we will travel to China, South America, Europe and North America! We will also be doing some fun experiments and we will be cooking different food from around the world!!

Week of August 15th Ringwood

This week at kamptime we will be cooking!!! All children like to help out in the kitchen so this week they will be doing just that!! Each day we will be making a snack that the children helped prepare. Some of the recipes will include ice pops, dirt dessert and pizza bagels!! At the end of the week, we will put all the recipes into our very own K2K Kamptime Cookbook to bring home. You will then be able to make them at home with your children. This week we also have bike day, water day and ice cream day!!! This is sure going to be a yummy week!!!

Week of August 8th Bauer Drive

What is  more fun then exploring the great outdoors?? Exploring the world around us!! This week the theme is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!  We will be talking about space and the different parts of the world!!! On Monday it is color day, please wear the color pink. On Tuesday we have water day. Wednesday we will be cooking nachos and Mad Science is coming to visit!! On Thursday we have bike day, ice cream day and the storyteller is coming!!! Friday we have water day!!!
In the toddler room Miss Michelle and Miss Barbara will be doing different science experiments like what happens when you put a white carnation in colored water???
In Miss Blake’s class this week, the two’s will be pretending that they are going on a spaceship to the moon!!! Using rolls of paper as large as the universe, we will be painting a beautiful portrait of the stars and solar system.
In the three’s room, Miss Trish is getting ready to explore the solar system and the planets!! They will learn all about the planets and do some experiments to get ready for mad science!!
Miss Kristen’s class will spend this week creating the solar system in the classroom and making some really cool stars! We will also learn about different cultures around the world. We will be doing different art projects to reflect what we have learned!! We will also be having a international food festival so please look for a sign up sheet out side our classroom!!!!

This week is full of experiments and exploring the world around us !!!

Week of August 8th Ringwood

This week we will be exploring and learning all about science!!! We will be doing some science experiments this week in preparation for MAD SCIENCE. They will be here on Thursday to show us some fun experiments!! We are also going to pretend to be astronaunts for a day and take a trip to the moon!!

Also, don’t forget about bike day, swim day and ice cream day this week!!!

Week of August 1st Ringwood

This week is Through the Decade and we are going back to the 50′s!!! We will be making our very own tye-dye t-shirts. The kids always have fun with this activity and the t-shirts come out great.**** Please remember we are using dye and not to dress them in their best clothes. ****We are having a disco dance on Friday so be sure the kids wear their tye-dye shirts and are ready to boogieee downnn!!! We also have color day on Monday, water day on Tuesday and Friday, and Ice cream day! This week is going to be super fun!!!

Week of August 1st Bauer Drive

This week will be learning about the Olympic games!! We start the week off with color day on Monday. The color of the week is red and we have *****BIKE DAY***** on August 1st. Then on Tuesday we have water day and cooking time on Wednesday, we will be making homemade ice cream. ***PLEASE LOOK OUTSIDE YOUR CHILD’S CLASSROOM FOR THE SIGN UP SHEET***!! Thursday is ice cream day and K2K Olympics. We can’t wait to play all the fun games!!! On Friday we have swim day and we say goodbye to Sports and Olympics for the summer!!

In the toddlers room Miss Michele and Miss Barbara will be teaching all about the different olympic games and they will be having their very own Olympics, everyone is super excited.

In Miss Blake’s class we will be practicing our motor skills and art with glueing and collaging different sports pictures. For outside time, we will be playing catch on the side yard.

Our Three’s class learn all about the Olympic games from Miss Trish. We will be watching some video’s of different sports played in the Olympics and having a kick ball game!!!

Miss Kristen’s class is so excited to be doing the K2K Olympics on Thursday that we will start our week off learning about some different games we will be playing. We will be playing kick ball, dodge ball and relay races!! If your child has any type of sports equipment that he/she would like to bring to school please label it so it will go home with him/her at the end of the day!!!
